Final Week #8

Here are a few of my pictures with family, which is my favorite place to be.......

I really enjoyed this class and wish everyone luck.

Thanks Everybody!

All good things must come to an end...

I wanted to thank everyone who hung in there and did an honest and good job with this class... I was happy with everyone's effort and progress.  Photography is universal and a life long pursuit.  I hope this small class helped you in your quest to become better photographers.  I hope to see you again in another class...

Peace and remember to always seek the light.

week 8

Wanted to get some color in with the orange pepper being on top of some yellow peppers.

Liked taking pictures with pomegranates. In this picture I wanted to keep the pomegranate juice in the picture from when I broke it open. Didn't want to cut it in half. Wanted the naturally ripped open look.
In this pomegranate picture I wanted to get as close as I could and still focus on the pomegranate

Inside of a cantaloupe.

Wanted to get close to this cut onion so you can see the layers that it has on its inside.

Art, Architecture, and a Duck

I have enjoyed this class immensely and learning the tricks of the trade. I realized I like to take pictures of architectural subjects and elements. Therefore, I enjoyed the virtual photography worldwide assignment (see my fotothing) and the use of the snipping tool. When I visited the New York at night website, I  listened to that Tom Jones song on a loop for hours.

Final week!

I cannot believe this will be my last post. These past 8 weeks have been so incredible. I really enjoyed my assignment, but I am looking forward to not seeing the inside of another cemetery for a while...lol.  This last week brought me full circle; back to St. Lawrence Cemetery in West Haven.  This cemetery is so large that I could have probably done my entire portfolio here.  Thank you for all the great feedback on my work.  I truly enjoyed getting a glimpse into your photography!
