Or Shalom Cemetery

This week took me to a different cemetery....a Jewish one.  There weren't any statues so I had to rely on the headstones.  It was nice to see how other religions represent their loved ones.

This must be some type of ritual. Many of the headstones had stones and rocks placed on top; some had messages like "Mom" or "I love you".

I wish I knew what this meant. I did a google image search and it said something about "blessing of the hands".

  1. The interlocking triangles with a perfect hexagon in the center speaks to a universal truth. The bottom shot of the hands making an upward facing triangle is one part of the message.. the other is the inverted triangle as grace and wisdom is showered on those who are receptive.

The stone covered in beautiful stones is another tradition we miss in Christianity...

    Nicely done!
