Church Architecture

Hello. I took some photos today of St. Thomas Church on Whitney Ave in New Haven CT. I took the professors advice and focused on the details and not the entire picture. I also played with saturation, black and white and other tools to enhance the



pictures. More pictures will be posted on my fotothing.

    Okay Steve...

    We want to get a better handle on the edits... See how "hot" the top two are? You want to avoid "blowing out" the stone elements... the third b and w one could have more contrast, using the Levels tool in Photoshop, giving you better blacks and brighter highlights....

      Thanks for the feedback. What do you mean exactly when you say "blowing out" the stone elements and "hot". Is "hot" not a good thing?
